Conveyancing
I have recently been involved in a conveyancing transaction with your firm. During the course of the transaction I had dealings with Mark McNally. I would like to express my appreciation for the friendly and courteous manner in which Mark handled the matter. He is to be heartily commended for his professionalism which in my experience distinguishes your firm from most other city practices and indeed suburban practices with which I have dealings. I am not one for handing out bouquets lightly but do so unreservedly in this case.

Mark, I wish to thank you for handling our case. Throughout we consider you to have been understanding, easy to talk to and informative - which has been extremely helpful to both of us. Further, you went to great lengths to understand the issues around the situation, and without your attention to details I don't we would have achieved the result we did.

Litigation and dispute resolution
The application arises out of an unusual set of facts. It raises some difficult legal issues of where the line falls between the federal courts invested with bankruptcy jurisdiction and other courts. It also raises the practical issues faced by unfunded insolvency practitioners in the face of those legal issues. The Court is grateful to the Inspector General in Bankruptcy for instructing Mr McNally of LM Lawyers to appear as amicus curiae and to Mr McNally for his highly useful contributions.
